Communications Training Officer Certification Course

This is a basic leadership course designed for emerging leaders or those wishing to promote in a public safety agency. It is also a good refresher for those in leadership positions. It is designed for 9-1-1 first responders and professional staff.

This course is specifically tailored for current 9-1-1 first responders and is open to all active 9-1-1 first responders. It is POST-certified in California, NMLEA-certified in New Mexico, and approved in Michigan. Please note, If you fail to attend without canceling or transferring, you will be ineligible for future free training (any subject) from our company. Please cancel or transfer your registration at least 14 days before the class if you cannot attend to allow those on the waitlist to attend.

The course explores the common characteristics of conflict and bullying behavior including identifying tools and resources to improve workplace communication. All class times listed are Pacific (California) time.

Tuition free, in person de-escalation training for active U.S. 9-1-1 call takers, dispatchers, and public safety records technicians. Funded through the U.S. Department of Justice COPS grant program. Pre-registration required. Class size is limited. If enrolling mulitple students please put them on one invoice. The course is POST certified in California CCN#1301-21207 Additional state certifications include Michigan TKT2025-6092 The grant is for local, state, city, county, tribal, 9-1-1 dispatchers.
