Terms and Conditions

Kim Turner, LLC | Effective May 18, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Kim Turner, LLC ("KTLLC," "we," "us," or "our") website, registering for courses, or using the customer portal, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

About Kim Turner, LLC

Kim Turner, LLC is a California-based, POST-certified public safety training and curriculum development firm specializing in 9-1-1 communications and emergency dispatch. KTLLC delivers instructor-led, live online, and on-demand training to public safety agencies, private organizations, and individual professionals nationwide. KTLLC operates independently from The Kim Turner Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Course Registration and Access

Course registration is available through our website. Tuition, schedule, delivery format, and enrollment capacity are identified at the time of registration for each course. Enrollment does not guarantee a seat in all courses, as certain programs may have capacity limitations. KTLLC reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any course at any time. Registered participants will be notified of any changes via their registered email address.

Payment

Payment is due by the day of the course unless other arrangements have been made in advance. KTLLC accepts payment through the methods offered at the time of registration. Failure to remit payment by the due date may result in forfeiture of enrollment.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted at least 14 calendar days prior to the scheduled course date. Cancellations received within the 14-day window will result in forfeiture of the full tuition. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made fewer than 14 days before the course date. Cancellations that fall outside the 14-day window and are eligible for a refund will be charged a 3.8% administrative fee. No exceptions. Student substitutions are permitted at any time. If you are unable to attend, you may designate a qualified replacement by notifying KTLLC prior to the course start time. No-shows will be charged and held responsible for the full tuition. Every unfilled seat represents a missed opportunity for another professional. This policy ensures our training resources are reserved for those committed to attending.

Student Responsibilities

Students are responsible for obtaining permission and approval from their departments prior to registration. If you register and your department does not approve your time off, tuition, or participation for any reason, you remain responsible for the terms of the cancellation policy, including any applicable tuition. All courses start on time. Students are expected to be on time with camera and audio ready to go for live online sessions. Life happens. Please contact your instructor in a timely fashion should the need arise. The most important responsibility is to have fun, learn something new, and take it back to your agency so we can all elevate our performance.

Your Account

KTLLC provides a customer portal and an organization portal for managing your training experience. Creating an account is free and occurs when you complete registration for a course. The customer portal is ideal for training managers and individual students. Training managers can easily manage the students they enroll through the organization portal. As a student, you have permanent access to all training certificates for courses you complete with KTLLC. No more searching your inbox. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information and the security of your login credentials. Do not share your account access with any other person.

Certificates are issued solely to participants who complete all course requirements, including assessments where applicable. Certificates are non-transferable and represent individual achievement. Where applicable, POST credit documentation will be submitted in accordance with California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training requirements. KTLLC reserves the right to revoke a certificate if it determines that the participant did not meet course requirements or violated these Terms and Conditions.
