Description

This course is designed for public safety dispatchers or those assigned to communications to have a basic understanding of the history of outlaw motorcycle gangs and to recognize common tactics used when they are in contact with law enforcement.

Under the instruction provided by a qualified instructor(s) each student will acheive the following learning outcomes:

  • Describe the general ideologies associated with outlaw motorcycle gangs.
  • Identify common crime trends associated with them.
  • Understand the history and culture associated with OMG’s.
  • Describe the most common recruitment methods and organization.
  • Analyze the dispatcher’s role in contacts with outlaw motorcycle gangs and officer safety.

Prerequisites

Current public safety dispatchers, call-takers, sworn police officers
