Description

This course gets real about the importance of leadership training for professional staff in highly responsible positions within public safety agencies. Students will learn positive leadership behaviors, expectations, basic conflict resolution skills and accountability. This is an 8-hour block of instruction.  

Under the instruction provided by a qualified instructor(s) each student will:

  • Discover leadership styles and qualities
  • Identify the importance of accountability to maintain health organizations.
  • Analyzing and identifying conflicting needs
  • Identify resources regarding stress and emotional health related to critical incidents.
  • Understanding the principles of accountability and reviewing organizational commitment.

CalOES ATA Reimbursement Approvals
