Leadership and Accountability
This essential leadership course is designed for emerging and existing leaders and those seeking promotion in public safety agencies. This presentation is exclusively for Records Personnel.
Description
This course gets real about the importance of leadership training for professional staff in highly responsible positions within public safety agencies. Students will learn positive leadership behaviors, expectations, basic conflict resolution skills and accountability. This is an 8-hour block of instruction.
Under the instruction provided by a qualified instructor(s) each student will:
- Discover leadership styles and qualities
- Identify the importance of accountability to maintain health organizations.
- Analyzing and identifying conflicting needs
- Identify resources regarding stress and emotional health related to critical incidents.
- Understanding the principles of accountability and reviewing organizational commitment.
This presentation will be facilitated by Mandi Runnells, an instructor with Kim Turner, LLC. Mandi brings 19 years of law enforcement industry experience to her role. Her career progression from Records Technician to Communications Manager and Records Manager has equipped her with comprehensive insights. As a seasoned instructor, she is passionate about helping professional staff leaders in law enforcement succeed and grow, offering expertise in CLETS, adult learning concepts, leadership, and more.
Prerequisites
Current Records Personnel with public safety agencies.
