Stress Management for Supervisors or Managers

This course is designed for public safety dispatch supervisors, managers, and directors. Students learn the unique stressors associated with leadership positions, basic conflict resolution skills, and developing resiliency for themselves and their staff.

Under the instruction provided by a qualified instructor(s) each student will achieve the following learning outcomes:

• Identify personal stressors
• Identify sources of stress
• Identify and analyze unique stressors of dispatch supervision
• Develop strategies for coping and resilience

If the class is CalOES approved for reimbursement you will receive the branch notification as part of the registration confirmation.
